    How to create cover gallery with linked images ? I can’t find place where to create such type of gallery and where to insert such links.

    You can create some main gallery, every image of this gallery could be linked to some page or post where will be published child galleries.
    Every gallery image have link option where you can define absolutely different links: to internal or external pages.
