Links In Alphabetical Order

  • I did a search and came up empty handed.

    Is there a plugin or something that will list links in alphabetical order?

  • Your Links->Links Categories has the ability to control the order of Links in that Link Category.

    From Codex:
    “Links can be sorted by Name, ID, URL, or Rating. Links can also be sorted so that those recently Updated appear at the top of the list, or links can be displayed in a Random order.”

    You can also control it via the template function:

    The wordpress admin area seems to only allow me to show links in alphabetical order in the admin area.I want them to be seen in alphabetical order on the blog.Instead mine are not in alphabetical order and keep switching themselves around.

    As for the codex thing… too much jibberish over there… made no sense.:(

    Go to Links/Link Categories. From there, hit the “Edit” button next to the link category that you wish to edit. Then, under “Sort order”, select “Name”.

    You know, as long as I have had my WordPress I don’t ever recall seeing that area before… strange… lol.

    Anyway, it worked.
