At some point (not sure when) Link library seems to have lost track of my links. I can see them all in the database table, but clicking “All links” in WP-Admin results in a blank list.

Is there something I should be looking at in DB where Link Library references the DB table it’s looking for? Other possible fixes?

    Thanks!

When you say that you are seeing all of the links in the database, are you referring to seeing them in the wp_links table? If so, that is the old location for the links for Link Library. Since version 6.0 (about 2 years ago), Link Library converted all link data to WordPress custom post types. The links therefore now live in the posts and post_meta tables.

If the update to this new format did not happen for you, you can always tell the plugin to re-import your links by going to the Global Options of the Link Library menu and clicking on the “Re-import links” button. This will convert all links over and you will then see them in the All Links section and they should appear on your site.

Ha! Thanks Yannick! Guess it must have not happened. Can’t believe it’s been that long. hahahah.

Anyway, that worked. Thanks very much!

Sorry for the trouble. Glad that did the trick! Welcome to the new Link Library ??

Not a problem @yannick. Just glad the fix was easy. Was expecting to have to rename some DB tables or change some config properties. =)

So that old DB table can be deleted?

Well, the old table is still a part of the standard WordPress database, so it should be left there, but can be emptied. Other plugins might expect it to be there. The links_extrainfo table was specific to Link Library and can be deleted.
