Links from Widget not working

  • I set up a link url from a text widget and it will work initially then it will duplicate the page name into the URL. I first noticed that the Discus recent comments widget was not linking so i set up a page showing the recent comments and put a link url in a text widget but this url kept adding the page name to the url.

    I am very confused, i think i can link this to the upgrade to 4.7.1.

  • You should include information like what plugin the widge came from. What the widget doing. If possible try to contact the plugins author.

    It is the generic text widget. I enter the html for a URL. It will work once then when i click on the link within the widget for a second time it will duplicate the page name into the URL.
