Links for thumbnails / featured images

  • Hello,

    I’m using Water-lily theme for a photography website : alinediot.com
    I’m wondering if it’s possible to change a option by editing the theme:
    I would like to change the link of the thumbnails: with this theme, the thumbnails land to the article pages. I would like to erase this link and to create a link with light box with images of the featured image.
    I’m sorry if i’m not very understandable, I tried to do my bestto explain this problem.

    Thanks for your quick answer. I just tried this plugin but it doesn’t work for the featured image. It works just for the image we put inside the article. And I can’t change from one image to another.
    I would like to apply this type of light box but without reach the article page.

    Off the top of my head, I think that the best way to achieve this would be to create a child theme and then change the way the posts are displayed on the homepage.

    I don’t have time to set that up for you, but I’ll add it on my list of things to do.
