    Links for sites, images, and vids not working. The links paths are visible as well. Occasionally after I edit a post and publish tags such as < and > will be replaced by their special character counterparts &gt; and &lt;

    I’m editing in html mode… I think it should be working but I’m not 100%
    Any ides? Here’s an example from my site. (sorry for content its one of the few posts I have though)

  • You’re lucky I’m a biologist ;). Your links have ended up with line breaks in them somehow. If you view the source for your post it shows the :

    <a href=<b r />
      "https://ezinearticles.com">

    Make sure you don’t press enter to start a new line mid-link, the text editor is probably converting it to a < b r />. Let me know if that helped. If it doesn’t, paste an example here from your html editor box, but put spaces in the tags like I have so they don’t get reformatted by the forum.

    Hmm well I took your advise and cleaned up the code a bit. But the problem still persists. I changed the theme back to default but that’s not it.

    I tried subtracting the link but it still renders on the forums. So just highlight what I have in block and view selection source.

    Are you sure you haven’t got a space or new line or anything either side of the = sign? So you should have href=” with no gaps. Don’t put a line break in just to make it clearer to read in the editor. It will break onto a new line between the a and the href, because your link is so long, let it do that.

    I did exactly that before. I used word pad. IDK damned…. *beats chest violently* me want fix! lol Any other ideas as to what it might be?

    I don’t, I tried it on my test site with the same link as you and it just works! You got any plugins? Try disabling them all and see if that helps. Try setting the default theme, and see if that does anything. If either of those solve it, let me know and I’ll try to narrow down the problem.

    Well I disabled all of my plugins and it worked so there must be a conflict. I’m going to have to rewrite all of my posts to fix the coding that was messed up when I imported the stories. lol but I’ll narrow it down and figure out which plugin/plugins are the culprit. I appreciate all of the help : )

    Great! No problem. When you find out which plugin it is, let me know.
