Links don't work on some computers

I am getting reports that some computers do not open links when they click on them. The links are in a map of locations, and should open a box that has a second link for more details. The links work on my computers, iPad, and an android tablet I have. Is this more likely an issue with my site or do you think the other persons computer needs to update a certain software on their computer?
