    Hi there.
Internal linking is about a link like “web design’ going to a page about ‘web design’. But I’ve setup this up on a few pages, and we are adding, for example, SEO as a link, as the post is about that.

But rather than it pointing to the ‘seo’ page, it links to another blog that mentions it.

Is this the point of it? So it So rather than linking every ‘seo’ link to the SEO page, it randomly finds pages that mention SEO, and links to those?

Just trying to understand it more. One of our links for SEO goes to a page about “anyone can build a website”, where we mention seo.

but we don’t want someone clicking on a link for ‘SEO’ and going there, as it makes no sense at all.

    Simon

I think I get it now. You add the keywords ONLY to the pages you want those terms linking to – not just pages where you might mention the keyword.

Like ‘SEO’, so only put that on the SEO page, so that term is picked up elsewhere and linked to it.

    Hi @simon_a6

    you’re right.

For example, if you have 2 posts:

    • Post A: Topic “SEO”, you configure keywords “SEO”, “Search engine optimization”
    • Post B: Topic “Online Marketing”, Has “SEO” in its content which will link to Post A

That’s the basic principle. So the “sense” is configured by you, the plugin will only do the linking you have configured ??

You could also have a look at our video, where things are explained a bit more in detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lx-paARAZqo

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers
