Links converting to text, numbers and symbols after exported from Word 2016

Hey guys,

I am having a bit of a problem at the moment. The links in my footer paragraph at the end of each post are converting to text, numbers and symbols rather than the links themselves when exporting from Word 2016. When i remove the link and re-add the link in WordPress, I get the same problem, but never within the wordpress post text itself.

Has this happened to anyone else? I have a feeling it happened after I downloaded the WooCommerce plugin, but I need that plugin for my shop.

Any ideas would be greatly received.
