Links Below Login Form

I’m referring back to this post that was closed but didn’t seem to be resolved.

I have the same issue where the background image makes the “Lost your password?” and “Back to site” links difficult to find/read. Ideally, I would like these links inside the login form box. A second possible solution as mentioned in the previous referenced post would be to put a solid background color behind these links.

Is this something that the Erident plugin can or is planning to support? Is there are different solution I haven’t thought about (other than removing the background image, which I could but prefer not to do for continuity of the site appearance)?
