• Hey guys, I’m new to WP and I’ve been spending all day searching for an answer to my question but still no lock.

I wanted to show post titles in my page and the content of the clicked title at the bottom of list.

for example i have these titles above the page,

    titl1
    title2
    title3
    ————–

    [content of clicked title]

so if a visitor clicks on title 2, the page redirects to itself and the content of title2 would be printed beneath the dashed line.

i was wondering if this is possible?

    thanks in advance.

  • Yes, everything is possible.
If you mean that these posts are different, then you need “Related posts” plugin, where you can specify whether the relation is based on tags or categories.
If these titles are on the same post, consider using “TOC” or table of contents plugin or if you want the same post to be divided into multiple pages each with its own title, consider using “Multi-page” pagination plugin.
    Hope this helps.

These titles are different post titles. Each linked to its post content ( maybe using the_permalink() ). But I want the content to be shown in the same page beneath the titles not in single.php
Is it possible without using a plug in?
