• Thanks for the advice on my issues. As you observe, certain material is not appearing in my page source code. This is despite my entering it into the posts/page editor. Below is an example of what appears in my posts/page editor. But this is not translating into the desired italics and link. I await your advice. Cheers Alex

    Funny-the read more link works on this page i.e. the support page. However the italics tags I uploaded in my post are not appearing. These tags are and /.

    Hey-funny-the tags have disappeared again so I’ll write them not exactly as tags. The opening tag is em surrounded by arrows and the closing tag is the same but preceded by a slash.

    Hey wait-I’ve just noticed that the italics tags have also resulted in application of italics in the example I sent you. So this proves I’m using the correct tags for italics and links. Unfortunately these are not appearing within my website posts and this obviously in linked (pun intended) to the fact that they are not appearing in my page source code. This seems to only be a problem with my posts – not my pages.

    You need to use WordPress’s content editor to create your text.
    You need to highlight your content, then click the italics button.
