Hello,

Yes it is possible to disable the link on the featured blocks,
but you will have do a little bit of customization.

First you will have to make a child theme,
download a child theme for the theme here :-

Then you will have to find and remove the link on the image on catchresponsive_page_content function located at Theme Directory -> Inc -> catchresponsive-featured-content.php and use the function on the child theme.
