Linking/Forwarding My Blog to a Url

  • Not sure if this should be a new post, or if I’m just too sleepy to find it in the archives, but I’m hoping y’all can help me or direct me.

    I’ve registered a .com Url that I’d like to use for my blog. I’m building it on WordPress, but want people to see the Url only and not a WordPress Url when the blog comes up.

    The domain I’ve registered is:

    https://ww.anamericanindublin.com”

    Can you tell me how to set things up so that searches of “An American in Dublin” or the Url ( or similar) will point people to the Url and my blog rather than to WordPress?

    Do I do this (or part of it) through my domain host?
