You can comment the source where I print months stuff. Also you can edit links according to your format.

And besides changing your code that is overwritten with next update, how else can I change it?
Can I overwrite it using hooks in my own plugin?

I never tamper with maintained plugins code.

Alternativly, you could offer a template in the admin options to modify, where the onclick event is hooking and making the year part of a link….

    thanks

Currently no, but you gave me an idea to add hooks on next version so people can add new features.

Another way is to changing frontend with JS using custom code.

    Thanks,

For the users who do not know how to write plugins, an option with a HTML template (little HTML knowledge would be needed) would be best.

For me, I could work with a hook, but offering a template file for changing a layout is better than a hook. A hook should offer extendible or customised functionality, not necessarily design change. Always bear a “simple user” in mind, who wants to just click here and there and configure it and then it runs.

Anyhow, thanks for your consideration and that you offer a free plugin.
    Wishing you donations

    cheers
