Linking to page section from sub menu

Hello, All. I have been trying in vain for the past two days to figure out how I can link a sub-sub menu item to a specific section on a page. I’m using betheme and Elementor (free version). If you look at the page, following is an example of what I’m trying to achieve:

Programs (main menu) -> Engagement, Education, & Advocacy (sub menu) -> Medical Outreach (sub-sub menu)

I’ve tried using the menu anchor feature with custom links, making sure to include the page url as follows: https://ln8.536.myftpupload.com/engagement-education-advocacy/#medical-outreach.

I’ve also tried using the Advanced tab in the section I’m trying to link to and assigning it a CSS ID.

Neither of these options work, and I am at a loss. Is there any way to achieve this?? TIA for any help.
