I have set up links to markers from other pages using the ‘markerid’ within a URL as described in your ‘using GET function’ article. This works well. However, I recently needed to import my markers (from a recent backup) and discovered that the links I had set up now point to different markers…. The reason for this is that on importing the markers, the marker ids were all renumbered. So I am now left with having to insert the new (renumbered) markerid in all my links…So is there any way that the export/import mechanism can retain the original markerids?

  • Hi Robert

Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues here.

What mechanism are you using to import and export please?

If you are using our import / export tools, you would need to open a ticket please.

If you are using a 3rd party tool can you please let us know what software you’re using here?

    Kind regards

Hi Sorry but for some reason I cannot log in to your website to raise a ticket. The credentials I have do not seem to work.
I’m using your ‘marker upload csv file’ under your ‘Advanced’ option. First to download the marker data and then to upload it again.

    Hi Robert

I’m afraid we cannot offer support for the Pro add-on on here due to matters of policy.

You need to create a support ticket, you could try resetting your password, or registering a new account?

If you’re still having trouble doing that please let me know and I’ll see if we can get that account reset.

    Kind regards
    – Perry
