linking to images use php base url

  • I have been uploading thumbnails and multiple images to my wordpress installed locally on my machine and my problems is when I am adding the url in the custom field for the images I have been using https://127.0.0.1/…. I need to know if there is a wordpress script I can enter in the custom field to link up to the base url for the image uploads field? Like $_server[‘DOCUMENT_root’]
