• Hi everyone,

I’m working on my own theme from scratch. I’m a web designer with a good knowledge of XHTML and CSS but a very poor knowledge of php. I’m feeling a little in over my head. I’m having problems making what seems like a simple link and I’m clueless on how to fix it.

I took my index.php page renamed it to about.php, modified it, saved it in the theme folder and tried to link to it from my main blog navigation. I’m getting a 404 error. When I go to https://blog.nicolesauk.com/wp-content/themes/NicoleSauk/about.php the page loads, or kind of. Nothing is on it though. I’m looking at other peoples blogs and they looked to be linked to an about subdirectory. Am I saving my file in the wrong place or should I have modified it some other way?

    My blog address is https://blog.nicolesauk.com

Thanks in advance for any help.
