    Hi @dessignthemes

In Gutenberg 16.1.0 if you select any text and click on the Link icon.. it opens a box where you add your link/url but then it don’t work just spins ..

That definitely sounds frustrating. Looking at your screenshot – it seems like there might be a few things you could investigate to see what is causing that.

    1. Could you please try adding a link to other Blocks (like a paragraph, or list item) to see if you have the same issue?
    2. Could you please try deactivating any plugins (apart from Gutenberg) and seeing if the issue still persists?
    3. If it is still happening even with just the Gutenberg plugin active – could you please let me know which Browser/OS you are using?

    Hello @jordesign

Ok, so I tested with just Gutenberg plugin activated…

    1. It doesn’t work on Safari
    2. It works on Google Chrome…

    Here is screenshot…

Hey @dessignthemes – thanks for trying that out.

In your screenshot – I notice that the block that is being used is an ‘Advanced Text’ block – which isn’t part of the default Gutenberg blocks.

Is that one provided by your theme (if all plugins are disabled). It’s possible the issue is specifically with that block. Can I confirm if you’ve tried adding the link to a plain ‘paragraph’ block as well?
