Linking slide images to post

I was wondering if it’s possible to link each slide to it’s individual post. Currently only the text I’m displaying links to the post, and when users hover over it, the pointer changes to a system caret instead of indicating a link. Not sure if the feature isn’t currently included, or if I might be missing something in the settings menu.
