Linking search results

Hi –

I am considering setting up a main site at example.com and a secondary site at example.com/wiki

I would like to know if it is possible to link the search results of theme 1 at example.com with the search results of the theme at example.com/wiki or if this would even be possible.

If it is indeed possible, how do I go about setting this up. I am a novice with code etc so simple terms and help would be exceptional!
