• Hello! I am new to WordPress and I have just inherited a WordPress website that I have figured out most of the things on it except for the rotating banner at the top.

The banner is the featured image of a post. My question is, how do I make the featured image clickable so that when a customer clicks on the banner (post’s featured image) it opens up the blog post.

    The website is: https://randeesmusic.com
You can see the banner at the top.
Wordpress is fully updates, as well as all the plugins. We use Woocommerce.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I believe it’s using Flexslider. You might check the theme’s configuration/options section to see if there is a setting that will allow you to add urls to any of the banner images. If the slider is a stand-alone plugin then check that.

    I hope this helps.

Have you fixed your issue with the links ?
I have the same sort of challenge. I use a page on the frontpage with a thumbnail/featured image and the users ask: “Why can’t I click on the image and jump to the relevant page? Well … let me tell you… I dont know ??

I found this article on www.remarpro.com but the link works only when you are on the page itself and not when the page is used as part of the frontpage:

    (nice music site btw)
