I am trying to create a simple e-commerce site and what I want to do is this:

On my home page, I have a few product images. I want it so that when the image is clicked, it takes me to a page displaying all products of a certain type; for example, anything tagged ‘sweater’ on the page that the sweater picture links to. This seems like a simple enough thing to do but I am not finding any information about how to do so.

I know that I can create a menu/sidebar that has listings of product types, but I want clickable images, at least on the home page.

Is this possible? How can I set this up?

  • Simply add a product category filter in your e-commerce store – navigate to your store and filter only “sweater”, copy that link and add an href to the image like so by editing it on your post.

    <a href="your sweater web page address"></a>

Thank you!! I knew it must be something simple but it just wasn’t coming to me. ??
