Linking 'Home' button to index.php

  • The theme I am using has a Theme Option to design the homepage. I want to include a ‘Home’ button in my site menu, but when I build one, it defaults to a non-existent Home page.

    How do I make a Home button that links to the index.php page?
    If it try and change the permalink to index.php, it defaults to index-php which doesn’t work.

    I’m sure there must be a simple answer to this…
