Linking header image to homepage?

Can you paste your header,php file in https://wordpress.pastebin.com and post url here so we can see the code and tell you where to make the change.

it might work with some css addition in style.css of your theme, after this section:

#sitename h1 a {
	display:none;
}

try and add these:

#sitename h1 { text-indent: -9999px; }
#sitename h1 a { height: 255px; width: 965px; display: block; }

(only checked in FF3.6, not widely tested)
