Linking files in Elementor

Hi,
In Elementor I want to link pdf files in a text. When I do so – marking the text, and clicking Add Media – the a marked text is substituted by the file name. Well, I know there is a work-around: copy the text and paste it into the Title field. But it is still real annoying.

Is the there anyway the avoid the chance of the text?
