    hello,

i couldn’t find any existing thread dealing with this, sorry if the issue has already been addressed somewhere else.

i have a bunch of pages that were translated before i installed polylang, and i couldn’t find a way to make the plugin recognise them as translations. is there a way of doing this or should i just delete the translations and then add them again as new pages, linking them to the original ones?

it would be nice if there was a way of linking them because it would save me a lot of tedious work… thanks for any help!

If we suppose you have a post in English with id = 5, then you can open the translation and, after choosing the language, enter “5” as Post ID for English. And then click on update.

To know the id of a post, this is the number in the edit link: yoursite/wp-admin/post.php?post=5&action=edit
