    Here is the problem:

Using the default WooCommerce product categories widget to only show child categories works great. Obviously though, with this setting, if the user gets to a category that doesn’t have any children then there are no categories listed.

Ideally, there is a “back to all [parent_category]” link in this case (or even simply on all categories that have parents.

What would be the best way to go about this? Any links of anyone doing this? I wasn’t able to find any myself.

    Hi there ??

In this case, what I would recommend is to enable the Show Hierarchy option, the Hide empty categories and the Only show children of the current category so that can work until you can find a snippet to achieve that.

If would like to have specific functionality for the category Widget, we’d recommend hiring a developer who can look at this, quote you for their services, and help you add this feature to your site. We’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer or one of the customization experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Cheers!
