Linker and CPTs

I am checking in on whether the plugin works for CPT with custom fields. I am building a site for a client with products and recipes and would love to have the two crosslinked (ie any product called out in the recipe ingredients would auto link to the product.) I believe this plug-in will do that if I setup the links in the settings. On some tests, I can see the plug-in is grabbing the page text (using print_r to check the $text array) but it doesn’t seem to be setting the links in place. It does seem to throw random links though, the word services on the home page was linked to the Services page until I excluded it using the settings.

Any hints as to how to check the linking process would be great?
