LinkedIn Share Count Not working

    Hey Kev,

    I’ve just learned that LinkedIn turned off their share counter. See this page:

    That page does state – “……Additionally, related APIs remain unchanged”. So, that might still be serving shares via the API.
    Seems like Linkedin knows about this already. See following link https://twitter.com/itoctopus/status/951859210614198274
    We will fix it as soon as there is any solution to the same.

    @kevdawg can you let me know how can we retrieve the Twitter counts? That would be awesome. I didn’t know they restored it.

    Not solved with LinkedIn yet @heator?

    FYI, I’m not unfortunately that tech savvy.

    I used this free service to bring back twitter counts. https://newsharecounts.com/
    The great thing is that Sassy Social by @heateor turned me on to it during the plugin set up, and uses it to gather share counts. All we need now is for someone to build something for LinkedIn.

    You can select a service for that in the Show share counts option in Standard Interface and/or Floating Interface section(s). https://newsharecounts.com is selected by default.

    All we need now is for someone to build something for LinkedIn.

    Hope, someone do that for Linkedin as well as G+
