(Linkedin) Og-image not detected

  • Hello all,

    I’m having problems viewing my open graph image on Linkedin. Linkedin can’t display it.

    On the post inspector, it doesn’t seem to detect correctly the image/tag

    This tag is actually present in the source code.

    The only difference that could explain it would be the absence of the name attribute (?).

    The preview is properly presented on the other social networks, Facebook for example.

    Howdy!

    Do you have a URL for me to inspect? There are many reasons for the issue you’re facing, most likely a theme outputting extraneous Open Graph metadata or that LinkedIn cached a version of the page without the image — you can test this by trying another page.

    LinkedIn has a “Post Inspector” to test your pages with: https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/. I’m considering adding the author tag in a future update, but the tag is a bit too ambiguously described.
