  • Hi,

We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v15.5? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    3. Can you provide an example URL that highlights the issue? That way we can take a closer look at it?

    Hi,

We checked and we can see in the source code Yoast is outputting https://gonew.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/imagem-social.png as the right og:image. This is the same image that Facebook and LinkedIn will use. See image: https://ibb.co/sKkpG20

We ran the URL through LinkedIn debugger tool here and the right image appeared. See image: https://ibb.co/kKvNdVP

We are not sure why LinkedIn is failing to show it when Yoast is outputting the right data.

    We suggest the following actions:

    1. Does clearing your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/

    2. Contact LinkedIn for more information as Yoast is working as expected. You can contact LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin.

    Did not work,

I will contact linkedin… The problem is in the app.

    Hi,

As the problem is with the App we will go ahead and close this. If you experience any other issues please feel free to make a new topic.
