Not sure what to do about this since other support threads say this problem is fixed, and I just bought the PRO plugin 3 days ago and have the most up-to-date version…

Right now, there is no general problem as it was several months ago. I was settings LinkedIn account with captacha just this morning and it worked fine. It must be something specific to your environment.

What exactly happens when you enter the correct captcha?

I’m just trying to do the Test Post to LinkedIn and this is what I get:

    https://bayimg.com/JApeEaAfI

    I can’t actually see a captcha..

I guess I need to enable debugging and see what I get, will do later and see if I can resolve the issue of not being able to see the captcha and report back here, along with my debug output.

Well now I’m totally lost as I don’t even get captcha error now, but instead this:

Array ( [postID] => [isPosted] => 0 [pDate] => 2014-07-30 22:06:01 [Error] => Error: No From. Not Logged In or No Posting Priviliges )

That actually means that you are no longer getting captcha.

This error means your linkedin URL is not correct. It must be exactly the same as you have it to the letter including http/https part.

I am having a similar problem. Please see the attached screenshot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

My error has returned to being asked for a captcha without a captcha to enter…

Not sure why this was marked as resolved – it’s unresolved. I have had the pro plugin for months now and haven’t had a single post sent out to my LinkedIn company page..

There are no unresolved issues with linkedin captcha that require code fixes.

Please go to the Help/Support tab and click “Check HTTPS/SSL” link. Most probably you will see some issues with your server. Those issues break your captcha.

I still have this issue as well and have not heard back from support. I did run the test you mentioned and it does return errors. I have no idea how to fix those, though, as my SSL cert is up to date and available.

I did find something similar for Twilio as opposed to LinkedIn, but not sure what to do or where to modify anything to fix it…

When you open that link it not just saying what error it is, it also tells you what to do. Usually it asks you to contact your server admin or hosting provider. It always includes a short piece of code that could be used to independently recreate that error.

Please do that. It is a problem with your server and your server admin must fix it.

    Yep – Thanks.

After reading this post, designating the location of a cacert.pem file in my IIS based server’s php.ini file (such as: curl.cainfo =”C:\cacert.pem”) solved the issue for me.
