    Hi there:

I tried to recreate your issue, and I can’t duplicate it. Can you try these steps to troubleshoot your problem?

The first thing to check is whether or not the button disappears/doesn’t work when using either the Icon Only or Icon+Text buttons.

Next, switch back to the official buttons and deactivate all other plugins on your site. Then, see if that resolves the issue. If the issue is resolved, activate your plugins one at a time to determine which is causing the conflict.

If that doesn’t help, please rule out a theme conflict by temporarily changing your site’s theme to a default theme (such as Twenty Fifteen) and trying again.

Let me know if you still have this problem and I’ll be happy to take a closer look.

    Hi,

Thanks for the answer. As per your advice, I have tested Linkedin button in text only, icon only, icon+text and official styles. It is working in all styles except in official style. Please tell how to make it work in official style?

As the official buttons are loaded from each service themselves – in this case, from LinkedIn – you would need to check your plugins or theme for any conflict with that button as I outlined above.

LinkedIn also recommends checking for JavaScript errors on the page that stops the code from executing. According to them, checking the JavaScript console and looking for errors is the best way to diagnose this issue. I was unable to do so due to whatever plugin/script you’re using on your site to prevent right-clicking. Regarding the right-click disable, it’s worth pointing out that these types of plugins really don’t protect your content, and are apt to cause problems with your site. Read this article for some more info on that:

Most likely you have a plugin that’s conflicting with LinkedIn’s JavaScript code and if you take your site to a default theme and disable all other plugins, you probably will see the button again.

As we have no control over the display of LinkedIn’s button or JavaScript, there’s not much more I can offer to troubleshoot other than use the other button styles.

I have found the plugin interfering with the official linkedin button – it is – autoptimize. Changing settings in the autoptimize plugin has removed the problem. Now, official button is appearing on the website. Thanks for help.

Glad to hear you were able to narrow it down to the autoptimize plugin and that it’s working for you again.
