I am using 2 plugins for the WP page, “Dublicate This” and “WP LinkedIn auto Publish” to create events and publish them to LinkedIn.

I have created one event and published it in LinkedIn, everything has been done as it was supposed to.

The problem appears when I dublicate the event, amend it and want to publish it to LinkedIn, it copies also the attribute from the original event that this event has been posted in Linked.

How can I reset the “Shered in LinkedIn” status so I can post the new event that was created by a dublication?

I think this might be also helpful in case I would like to re-post an event if and when is necessary as I could not find a way to repost from the WP plugin.

    Hi @axmercury,

In the plugin settings of the duplicate plugin, there might be an option to exclude specific meta keys.

You would want to exclude the meta keys:

    _custom_linkedin_share_message

    _profile_selection_linkedin

    _dont_share_post_linkedin

    _sent_to_linkedin

    Thanks

There is unfortuantely no exclusion suffix option as I see it,

The only option I see are:

    Choose Editor

    Duplicate Post Status

    Redirect to after click

    and

Duplicate Post Suffix, which I presume that this is to add and not to exclude.

Please note that I use the free version, perhaps this option is only at the pro option?

You might need to try and find a different duplicate plugin or perhaps a pro version like you said.
