    Hello,

I’m having a problem with taxonomy pick on Woocommerce product page.
    For example:

    Attributes:
    Height: 103, 123, 133, 153

    Width: 4, 5

    Thickness: 1, 2

I have a unique product for each combination of width and height. When picking taxonomy downwards 123, 5, 1 it works fine and remembers the previously picked taxonomy. But when going upwards it forgets the picked attributes and restarts it to first one.

So after picking width or thinkness, any change on height retarts width to 4 and thinkness to 1. Is there any solution for that?

    Thanks

    Hi @quake109 ,

May I have your public product link to check this directly on your site?

If possible, kindly make some images of backend linked variation settings and a video of the screen so that I could reproduce the issue from our end here.

    Best regards.

    Hi @quake109 ,

I see that there is no issue with your linked variation. It is just the order of terms specifed under Products >> Attributes of your site.

You can kindly check the selection process again and compare the order of terms to the order of terms specified for each attribute under Products >> Attributes. Our plugin will display the options of the attributes in the order specified under that section. As only 1 term can be used for each attribute, so our plugin determines the order of terms based on that order in the Attributes section: https://prnt.sc/T43MPPoSZhQT.

For example: If the order is Blue, Black for the Color attribute, S, L M for the Size attribute, then when you click on the Blue color term, all the available terms for that size will be enabled and by default, the selected term will start with S first, then L and M accordingly.

Since linked variations are not actually variations of the same product, so the product page will need to reload and show the corresponding product to the chosen terms. You can check the order of terms and make sure they are configured to your preference.

    Best regards.

    Hi Janilyn T,

I understand. I’ve been looking for a plugin that allows to change the product based on picked taxonomy so each product has it’s own page with specific parameters. So it’s more SEO friendly.

    Thanks

    Hi @quake109 ,

Unfortunately, our plugin can’t determine on its own. If you want a plugin to do that, there will need a different system of attributes or custom attributes used for the linked variations only so the order and terms under attributes won’t be affected.

And if our plugin can use a different order of terms, then users might not be able to re-use the default attributes created for products on their site. That means more labor work to be done.

    Best regards.
