I posted new registration forms (PDF versions) on my site for an upcoming event, but I cannot open them on my home computer, where I do all my WP work. I can open them on my phone, and on my work computer, and several other people have indicated they can open them… so it’s not a web site issue, it’s an end user issue. Any ideas what’s haywire with my computer?

  • hi @pklonowski,

Thank you for posting to us!

Could you please navigate us to the menu where we can see the feature to download the PDF files?

Also, we want to know that, you are facing the problems to open the file or to donwload the file? If you are facing an issue to open the file on your home computer, then please make sure you have a proper PDF viewer. Also, you can try opening it with “Google Chrome” as it has built in PDF viewer.

Please let me know your feedback over this!

Do you have a WordPress issue or a PC issue?

As mentioned above, I think it’s an end user issue. One other person has reported they don’t even see a link on their computer. I see links, but they don’t open. Close to a dozen others can open them, so it’s not a WP issue. I guess my question is, has anyone seen this before, and how might it get resolved?

I have the latest version of Adobe Reader. Maybe a Chrome issue? They all open in MS Edge…

    The site is:

The links are near the bottom of this page, “WCS 2020 Overview…”, “WCS Reg…”, and three more below that.

    THANK YOU!!!

In Chrome, “Open In New Tab” and “Open In New Window” don’t work, but “Open In Incognito Window” works. So it’s clearly not a web site issue, it’s a Chrome issue. I’m going to call Geek Squad, and have them pore over it.

    Thank you again!!!

Once AdBlocker is turned off, it all works…

    Hi @pklonowski ,

Great to hear that your issue is solved now.

    Good luck.
