linked images on homepage

  • Hi, I am currently using Argent Theme on my website which is in the early stages of development. i want to use the same layout as the home page on the argent theme demo. there are 3 images on the page that when you hover the mouse over the text disappears and they have a link to another page.

    Does anyone know how i can do that on my homepage? (p.s, im very new to wordpress!)

    The Argent theme provides a bit of a tutorial on the WordPress.com page here – https://wordpress.com/themes/argent/. If you look under the ‘Portfolio’ section, you’ll see where it lays out how to post a Portfolio item to the site. From there, you’ll be able to add the portfolio area to the homepage via the WordPress customizer.
