Linked files not displaying

    The links to resource files should use a syntax that ensures the link has a class attribute that contains the value external, or a rel attribute that contains the value external_link.

    If you use the syntax for external links with file icons, neither of the two conditions mentioned above will be met. Here is the page describing external links: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Links#External_links

    I will have to update the code to handle the external links with file icons.

    In the meantime, you can force links to add specific class and rel values, using the Link Attributes extension syntax, as described here: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Link_Attributes
