Link Within a Page, but to the title…?
-
Hi,
So I self taught myself how to link to different areas on a WordPress page by added an id tag within the WordPress article and referencing that id tag in the tag from the referring link.
The problem is when I click and arrive at the WordPress page, it starts from the body of the blog and not the title. I have to scroll up a tad to see the title, and it’s a bit confusing. This is because the earliest I can insert the id tag is way at the beginning of the entry.
I’ve tried adding an id tag to the headline of the blog post, but it still references to the beginning of the body of text, not the headline.
This might sound confusing, so please go to https://www.firecrackerpr.com and scroll down to the second blog entry you see: “Lead Generation in Any Economy”. Click on the link and it will go to the WordPress page. You’ll see that the new page starts from the body but you can’t see the headline.
Can someone help me with this, or tell me if there is no way to have the new page start from the headline?
Sorry for the rambling!
