    Hi,

I have checked through the thread and there is still no solution yet.

The links with anchor on my website is not being translated correctly. My default language is Thai and the second language that is having the problem is English.

The original link is like this: https://holisticwellnesskabtea.com/services/#book-a-session

Then it is being translated to: https://holisticwellnesskabtea.com/en/services/#book-a-session/

There is a slash added at the end of the link and that makes the anchor links not working. Could you look into this matter and find a solution.

I love using TranslatePress and this would be very good if it could be fixed.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards,

    Patee

    Hi,

Thank you for a rapid response.

No, I have not managed to resolve this issue. The links are taking users to the right URL, yes. But the problem is the ‘anchor’ is not working because of the slash ‘/’ and the end of the address.

This mean, instead of taking users to the right part of the page, the links just direct users to the top of the page, which is not what we want the links to do. For example you try this yourself:

    1. https://holisticwellnesskabtea.com/en/services/#book-a-session
    2. https://holisticwellnesskabtea.com/en/services/#book-a-session/

Follow these two links and you will see that the first one takes you to the book a session part, but the second one just takes you to the top of the page. This should be fixed, because your plug-in takes users to the second one that have a slash added at the end.

    Kind regards,

    Patee

    Hi Anca,

I just found the solution now:

“Our plugin doesn’t support relative links and in order to solve this problem, absolute links must be used instead.”

    It’s fixed, thanks.

    Kind regards,

    Patee
