Link Tutorial for WordPress Forum Beginners

I suggest the Forum Welcome page from Codex include a short tutorial stating steps on how to use the link button in forum posts.

As you have seen, some forum users post empty hyperlinks or may leave hyperlinks open.

That can happen with any of the forums’s quicktags (which, incidentally, are almost identical to the quicktags in the HTML tab of WordPress). The mods just correct these issues as, and when, we spot them.
