link to url on copyright bar at bottom

    Is it possible to include a link on the bar at the bottom where the Copyright bit goes? I’m designing a site for a client and I’d like a link to my own website here with a website designed by…

    You will have to add that in manually in the footer.php file. However, if doing that, I recommend the child theme method for modifying files so you can get updates without losing your changes. This theme includes an installable child theme.

    Thanks very much, I’m new to wordpress (this is only the 2nd site I’ve designed) and I’d never heard of child themes before, but having just looked it up that sounds great – and relatively easy to do. I’ll give it a go, could you give any more advice on what exactly I would need to type to allow me to do this?

    I’m assuming you want to know how to do a link? I would recommend searching Google for what you want to do, but for html link code, I find this site a good one to bookmark:
