Link to SumeMe.com added??

  • This is the second plugin that has been hijacked by the SumoMe link where there is no actual update to the plugin.
    The other plugin hijacked is the AEC Calendar.
    I don’t know how WordPress can allow this behavior.

    I’m of the same opinion as Justin. Shame on you dev.

    Everyone should report this plugin to [email protected].

    It is a clear violation of rule #10 of the WordPress plugins policy that states “The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a “powered by” link) without explicitly asking the user’s permission. Any such options in the plugin must default to NOT show the link.”

    Appears the link was removed recently, although for some reason it was still showing on my site (which does not use a cache) earlier tonight and the plugin was at the current version.
