    Hi there,

Yesterday I discovered that the links to specific tab items on my site are no longer working–no matter what, it brings me to the first item. I’m using WP 4.7.2 and Beaver Builder plugin is up to date. I double checked to make sure I had the CSS IDs set correctly. These item links used to work fine, so I’m not sure what’s going on here. I’m using Chrome (Version 56.0.2924.87), but I also tested in Firefox and it doesn’t work there either.

For reference, the site is https://coplacdigital.org/handbook/. Within the accordion, I have links to different items in Tab modules.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey @leahtams,

    Thanks for posting!

That’s actually a bug we have on the latest version of our plugin. The fix has already been committed though, and should be available on the next maintenance patch. ??

Hey @hinampaksh another question related to the accordion module I’m using on https://coplacdigital.org/handbook/. I had used HTML to set the Accordion Item Label as a link to that particular page/section, but it doesn’t seem to be working anymore. All it does now is expand/collapse the accordion (which it previously only did when choosing the unlinked part of the accordion). Do the accordion item labels no longer support HTML like this? Thanks! ??

    Hey @leahtams,

Apologies for the delayed response! We actually made some changes to how the Accordion module works for accessibility on the latest version. This most likely affected the markup causing the links to stop working.

HTML should still be supported though, just that the links are no longer clickable as they’re being overridden by the JS which opens the tabs contents. I’ll check with the guys and see if that’s intended, and if they’re willing to make the links work. ??

Ah, that makes sense! If the team wants to keep it so that JS overrides any links manually put in, that’s fine! Accessibility is definitely the more important concern. I can just organize the Accordion in a slightly different way. ?? Either way, I’d love to know what you all decide. Thanks so much for being so responsive in this forum! ??

I am experiencing the same problem but with tabs. I set up an ID #services for my tabs module that has 4 tabs, then I linked to the page which is itself called services so href=”/services/#services-3″ as an example for the fourth tab. It just opens the services page but defaults to the index tab.

    Any help appreciated.

@animalfield Do you have the most recent version of Page Builder? The tab item linking issue (from my first post in the thread) was resolved when the new version was released and I updated.

I have 1.9.4, looking at the changelog page that is the latest version unless you got an undocumented update?

That’s the version I have, too. Checking back on my site, I am still having the problem, so I was wrong about it being fixed. Ben said that a fix will be on the next maintenance patch, so I’m sure it will be fixed soon!

Just relooking at this, not sure which is which. I have the Pro version, 1.9.4. The first accordion link on the change log page shows this is the latest version, last updated 1/18. The second accordion link on that page is the Alpha version of the same plugin? confusing. Anyway, it got an update on 3/9.

Hopefully they’ll address this quickly, it’s a basic functionality that should be there and if you pay $199 for a builder it should get a quick hot patch to resolve a break like this.

Yep, that’s the most recent release of the beta plugin–I have the Agency version. I’m not too worried about it, though. Although it might be a slight inconvenience, it’s not difficult for people to click on different tabs.

The alpha version is the first release (or pre-beta) version of Beaver Builder. They’re still updating it because I’m sure there are still a handful of people using the alpha version and need it supported.

I just checked on the next release (1.9.5) and it looks like this will be fixed. We’re planning on releasing that Monday for pro and the week after for lite.

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Thanks!
