    Sorry, let me put it a different way. I want to link to a set of search results, as in a page where the filter dropdown is preselected and will show the results accordingly.

    Does that help clear it up at all?

    Ok, I think what you want is the url of a searched results, if I understand correctly.

    Well, since you are using Ajax, you will not get the url with the query parameters. However, you can first try to use the default template for display the result first. And when you search with the selected input, it will redirected to the search result page. Copy the url of the result page. After that you can change the form to the ajax template again.
