How can I create a link from a normal WordPress menu to one of the pages created in Custom Profile Menu for BuddyPress?

Because they are not normal pages post type, they don’t show up in the WordPress Appearance > Menus, and the URLs are dynamically generated with the user’s username as part of the URL, so I can’t use a Custom Link. If the pages within Custom Profile Menu for BuddyPress were normal page post type, then this wouldn’t be an issue.

    Hi there @nilesprague !
I hope you are having a great day!

I’m afraid, that is not possible within the scope of BuddyPress and Custom Profile Menu for BuddyPress, out of the box, unfortunately.

Let me explain how this plugin works. It basically provides you with a WordPress custom post type to add custom menu pages. When these custom post types are added, they are converted to BuddyPress menu tabs real-time, using core BuddyPress functions.

BuddyPress does not let you link its menu tabs directly, as the URL structure is dynamic and contains the username of the WordPress user.

But I understand what you’re saying, I agree that it’d be quite a great feature to be able to directly link to BuddyPress menu pages directly from WordPress Appearance->Menus. I can surely consider it as a feature request, either for this plugin or even as a standalone plugin. Thank you for your feedback.

    Kind regards,
    Nahid
