Link to previous posts when using plugin on a SRP static page
-
Hi,
i was looking for a way to integrate the 5 most recent posts on a static page and then make it the front page of my site. The reason for this is that I want to see the large picture slider on the front page only, but not if I go back to previous posts.
Thanks to Luca’s great code comments I was able to integrate it with the pagelines framework (CSS, structure, etc.) by editing the class-main.php. I can now use the static page the way I want and have a second page for the “real blog”.
Now, the problem is, how do I add a “previous posts” link to my static page?? I tried the function get_previous_posts_link(), but that didn’t really work. It just adds ?paged=2&lang=de to the front page URL. I would need a function that returns the URL of the “real” blog page, preferably with an offset for starting post number. Thanks a lot,
Klayman
