• I’ve read a number of posts on this issue on the forums but nothing seems to click. Site in question is This WordPress site here. with the Previous Posts link at the bottom of the page should go to https://wirelessandmobilenews.com/category/pa..2 and I get a 404 type message here. So I switched to the basic TwentyEleven theme, turned off all plugins and resaved permalinks. None of which worked. In Permalinks I’m using this as the custom structure: /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

Any idea where I can get this to work right?

    Tried it. No change.

I hope the default permalinks are working ?
    Are they ???

You mean go back to the original default structure? I would hope so. The custom structure works everywhere. Except the previous page link on the homepage. That’s it.

I did go back to the default structure and the Previous Page link does in fact, work. So it’s something with the custom structure but this is the structure the client specifically wants. I’m stuck with it. So how can I make Previous Page work?
